- ENDLESS SUMMER by Jennifer Echols (Admittedly, I'm finishing this up from December.)
- ASUNDER by Jodi Meadows (It's an ARC but it comes out next month!)
- THE TRAGEDY PAPER by Elizabeth LaBan (A good friend of mine–and I'm excited to finally read her book!)
This is a pretty crazy month writing wise so my reading pile is a little light–but I'm planning to read a whole lotta romance next month for February! I'm even thinking of doing a Top 5 List again.
What are you reading this month?
It's probably silly, but I always try to read a "get up and go" book in January. I hesitate to call it "self-help" because I tend to read books about productivity that are catted as business management.
ReplyDeleteI've never read THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE, so that's my buy for this January. Interesting, so far.
And I'll also be reading TRAGEDY PAPER this month. Just put it on my nook.
Thanks for the comment, Jessica! Let me know when you start reading The Tragedy Paper! I can't wait to get to that one too!
Delete45? That's pretty amazing! I'm reading manuscripts. And I can't wait to get my hands on a particularly juicy sounding one. (*wink*)
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at 45 too! I read a lot of MSs too last year, it's too bad we can't count them toward our goals! :)
Delete*wink* I'm working on it *wink* :D
Last year I think I read 45 books. So this year I've set my goal at 52 ~ one book per week. Right now reading Along For the Ride by Sarah Dessen and also jumping through some Rilke.
ReplyDeleteOh, let me know what you think of Along For the Ride! I love Sarah Dessen--and that was one of my favorite books by her (in the top 3)
DeleteI"m so jealous. The covers are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading a collection of short stories by Hakuri Murakami. I'd also liek to get my hands on Scarlet and Shade of Earth.
Love your blog.
THUMP sounds fantastic. I hope it gets on the shelves soon!
Thanks Bethany! :)
DeleteSo far this month I'm reading WOLF HALL by Hilary Mantel (Adult Historical), COME SEE ABOUT ME by CK Kelly Martin (Contemporary Adult, or NA I guess), and THE BERMUDEZ TRIANGLE by Maureen Johnson. I set my Goodreads challenge at 75 for the year because I set it at 65 last year and went pretty far over, so this year I'm aiming higher!
